Private, one hour tours can be arranged for groups big and small. We do have easy access and exit for large tour busses.
Just like our public tour, guests are treated to a once-in-a-lifetime close-up encounter that rivals any behind the scenes experience at even the largest zoo. Meet Dairy founders Gil & Nancy Riegler as they personally introduce you to their unusual family of animals.
Learn how America's first camel dairy came to be and what the future holds for camel milk in the USA. Experience for yourself the gentle and comical nature of these powerful, gentle giants.

Camel milk soap and chocolate are usually available for sale after all tours.
All About the Oasis Camel Dairy
Led by Gil or Nancy Riegler:
This intimate, candid tour includes a seated "show" presentation where camels also come to you and even includes a few impromptu performances by some of our other four legged dairy residents. Then take a leisurely, short stroll to the camel enclosures for some camel cuddling. This is our most popular private tour led by Oasis Camel Dairy owners Gil and Nancy.

Walking the Dairy
Keeper Led Tour:
One hour walking tour led by one of the keeper staff of the Oasis Camel Dairy. Guests are taken on a walking tour to visit the animals and birds at their enclosures. Camels can be touched from the outside of their enclosures.
tour size limited to 10 people. Guest must be very ambulatory and comfortable walking over uneven ground.

School Tour
A special, age appropriate tour for school groups.
Gil and Nancy customize this tour for school groups, scout troops and home schoolers.
$8.00 for adults, $5.00 for students

Photo Safari
No telephoto lense required! Venture right out into the field and walk among the camels where you can take unbelievable photographs!
$50.00 per-person, eight person maximum. Adults only. Must be able-walking

RIDES: Rides can be pre-arranged to follow your tour. Camel rides during private tours are the county fair, around in a big circle, hand led kind of ride.
Ride prices are $5.00 for children or $10.00 for adults. (minimum fee to set up camel ride is $50.00. The fee is applied to the actual rides... not in addition to the rides.)
Our spoiled camels have a 200 lb. weight limit.
