PRIVATE Hands on Camels Series

Step into the world of camels with our Private Hands on Camels Series. This personalized one on one series of sessions lasts just a few hours and is perfect for camel enthusiasts who want a deeper understanding. You will learn directly from camel experts with over twenty years of experience - how to read camel communications, respond with confidence and safely work around these amazing creatures.

Customize your experience to maximize your goals. Our Private Hands on Camels Series is a progressive three part journey designed to be taken in order with each session building on the last. You are welcome to reserve session 1, session 1 and 2 or the full series. Sessions one and two run about 45 minutes each and session three is a 90 minute immersive hands on capstone.
Participants must be age 16 or older and be able to safely participate in a hands-on livestock environment including following instructions and moving around uneven terrain.

Work side-by-side with an experienced camel keeper in a hands-on grooming session that builds comfort and clarity.
Start by meeting the camels. Then learn safe handling as you brush and groom under the guidance of your personal trainer/keeper. Along the way, you will explore anatomy, nutrition, daily care, movement, temperament and spatial awareness.
Come away with the ability to read a camel's body language and respond with confidence.

Learn how to earn a camel's trust while developing the skills to confidently lead rather than merely follow. Discover how timing, confidence and thoughtful leadership help a camel feel secure and willing to work with you.
Practice haltering, securing and leading a camel through guided exercises and short walks. By the end of the session, you'll understand how clear communication, consistency and confident leadership create a willing, responsive partner.

This guided camel walk-about puts your new skills into practice as you lead your camel on a memorable walk through the Oasis Camel Dairy.
Journey along ranch trails, across pastures and into the lavender fields.
Pause along the way to relax with complimentary refreshments as you enjoy the peaceful surroundings and unhurried camel time.
Then complete the full experience by returning with your camel to ranch, removing it's gear, grooming and releasing them back into its enclosure.
You'll head home with the satisfaction and confidence of guiding a camel through its daily routine.
