Before 2020, the Oasis Camel Dairy supported itself primarily through performances at county fairs and Open House/Large Crowd Events at the Dairy,
Since March of 2020, Private Tours and Online Sales of our Rare Milk Camel Milk Skincare Products are our only income. Thanks to YOU.... we are doing ok!
With the onset of Covid 19 restrictions, Our ability to support our family farm came to a crushing halt.
All of our summer county fairs where cancelled. We could no longer offer Open Farm Days and Festivals at the Dairy.
So we did a HUGE pivot. In an effort to keep our farm family afloat, we developed a wonderful PRIVATE TOUR ONLY format that allowed us to make a living, maintain our animals at full-resource level and pay our staff.
We discovered something quite unexpected... an extraordinarily elevated experience. By keeping the tours completely private, the feedback shifted into what I like to call, five star over-drive. And not just for our guests but for our animals and staff too. Although we are working with small groups the experience is big fun, big education and big memories and BIG LOVE from the animals. Encounters between guests and animals became very intimate and special. Even very young children began to experience moments with our gentle giants that before seemed impossible to share.
We discovered that large animals where not the issue. Large crowds where.
The result is pure joyful magic.
So we budgeted it out and found that if we could ask for a minimum of $150 for each private group of ten or less... We could consistently create these magic moments and care for our animals, employees and business properly.
We know that a small group of two or four guests is paying a much higher per-person-ticket price than a group of ten. WE THANK YOU! And will do everything in our power to deliver the VIP experience that is beyond worth your time and resources.
